Thinking about buying Shin Ohtake Max Workouts program? Read my Max Workouts review first, because what I found might shock you! ★★★★★

tomHey, my name’s Tom. I think I maintained a reasonably good fitness level until about seven years ago when I had my first kid. Honesty, I never really realized it until I came across MAX workouts online, but somehow, over time, I started working out less frequently, sleeping less, and eating more. Life got hectic in a good way, and I got bigger.

I can’t say my workout routine has always been the best. I’ve kept to the same series of workouts mostly focusing on my chest and upper body while running either outside or on the treadmill. I figured I’d just do that again but more frequently and I’d lose all the extra weight.

When that didn’t work, I figured I was doing something wrong. I was training harder, but seeing little to no results. Something was wrong, but no matter how much research I did, I just couldn’t work it out.

So when I found MAX workouts, I was skeptical it would even work. Ultimately, I decided to just look into it further. My MAX workouts review is what I found based on the research I conducted, but I did not buy it. Honestly, I don’t think you should buy it either.

My Max Workouts Review – My Thoughts And Opinion..

Shin Ohtake

Shin Ohtake

MAX workouts were created by Shin Ohtake as “the 90-Day Ultimate Fitness Program.” The fancy eBook cover promises anyone can achieve some pretty reasonable goals by following their workout routine. In addition to their complimentary add-on manual called the New Lean Body Diet.

The material Shin Ohtake had used to create MAX workouts may seem legit, but it really isn’t specific to Shin Ohtake workouts at all. The program is actually based on the Tabata method, HIIT, and the after-burn effect, which aren’t specific to MAX workouts at all. They do work though.

First off, the reviews are not that great. Not only are people saying MAX workouts are tedious, hard to follow, and just plain dull. As a result, they make it hard to want to work out. They may be effective, but they’re no fun, making it feel much more like you’re doing work rather than enjoying yourself. Who wants to force themselves through the motions? I mean, that just seems completely counter-productive because you will end up avoiding working out altogether. Motivation is key, and I want to maintain my motivation, not squash it.

Many people say the Shin Ohtake workouts are brutally unorganized. In fact, there are no cheat sheets and you’ll end up spending a lot of time flipping back and forth between pages or scrolling around to figure out what to do next. In my opinion, having printable workouts would have been a blessing.

The exercise demonstrations pictures are clear and easy to understand, but you have to pay an upgrade fee to access any video demonstrations. I don’t know about you, but I want a program that doesn’t charge a recurring $19.99 fee for some videos.

Then, after you’re done with MAX workouts, there’s nothing left for you to do unless you sign up for the MAX workouts club for $19.99 per month. You get access to forums and new workout videos, but there really aren’t even enough people on the forums in the first place to even make posting worth your money.

At first, MAX workouts seemed to be a great option. Now with people talking about the disorganized material, an inadequate diet guide, and boring workouts that you won’t even enjoy doing, it’s not worth it. Even if they do work, it really makes it seem like one of the worst choices. Plus, with the extra fees for videos and such a high price for the MAX workouts club, it’s not worth the price. Shin Ohtake might not have been on the right track this time. Unless, of course, he likes boring workouts. To each his own, right?

gladiator thumbsdownOverall, my MAX workouts review is based on all the reviews I read and the research I conducted while looking into Shin Ohtake and MAX workout. I wasn’t impressed enough to even buy the subscription. Really, you should just save your money too. There are better workout programs out there for less cash like Bodyweight burn which is an alternative I found.

Max Workouts Alternative

As my top choice, Bodyweight burn helped me get the results I wanted to achieve.

bw3Bodyweight burn works for both men and women to sculpt the best bodies in the world. In just 21-minutes each day, you will burn a little more fat every day. In addition, you will have more energy and stamina, reduced amount of aches and pains, and even have the ability to eat more carbs without ever going to the gym. That’s right, no gym, no weights, no equipment; you just use your own body weight.

Bodyweight burn is created by weight loss author and body weight exercise specialist Adam Steer. Steer says the problem actually is that you’re exercising too much. By keeping the workouts short, like in Bodyweight burn, you’re scientifically proven to achieve all the benefits of longer workouts without any negative side effects.

You see, in 2006, researchers from Berkeley University and Stanford University revealed that habitual runners are more likely to get fat with every passing year. Long workouts are actually more strenuous on the body. They also jack up the body’s stress hormone called cortisol. High doses of cortisol in turn force your body into a protection mode. Thus storing fat around your midsection. Even worse, this is the type of fat that increases your risk of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

This means longer workouts are not needed, and that was the problem I was facing. By running every day for at least 45 minutes to an hour combined with my weight lifting, I was basically doing it all wrong. Instead I was causing my body to store more fat.

Did you know a recent study from Australia reported a group of women who followed a 20-minute program with eight-second sprints followed by 12 seconds of rest actually lost six times more body fat than another group who followed a more traditional 40-minute cardio program?

There are many more studies going back to 1994 that prove 21 minutes is the perfect amount of time for a workout.

Less Time Spent

Bodyweight Burn BannerSpending all that time exercising really was getting in the way of my family time. It was more time away than I would have liked. I figured “no pain, no gain,” but really, I’d gladly take the extra time with my kids and still get the results I’m want. Who wouldn’t?

Don’t think that just become you have to invest less time in your workout that it will be easier. These 21 minutes will be tough and intense. But unlike everyone else, you’ll be almost done with your workout. This is before other people have even finished their warm up. The best part? You’ll get great results.

It’s all thanks to a proprietary system called Bodyweight 3x Fat-Burn Multiplier Effect, or BM3 MultiBurn for short. Using three scientifically optimal exercise methods that work together, you will stay in a fat burning state all day long. The multiplier effect of the workouts creates a cellular affect that actually then allows you to eat more carb-based foods. Thus accelerating your fat loss.

Here’s how Bodyweight burn works:

  • BW3 MultiBurn Method 1: Cardio flow – This method puts a spin on traditional cardio workouts that are essential for rapid weight loss. Only instead of going for long runs, you’re placed in the fat burning zone by controlling the cortisol levels in your body. It’s a sequence of body weight exercises that fit together in a fun way. The exercises almost feel more like martial arts.
  • BW3 MultiBurn Method 2: Afterburners – Unlike Shin Ohtake workouts, these afterburners help the body to melt flab up to 38 hours after you’re done working out. After a high intensity workout session, the body tries to restore itself to a normal state by replenishing the fuels you used. It also focuses on removing the crappy byproducts left in your muscle cells while repairing any muscle damage, which takes calories. The measured and proven effects from an afterburner style workout will burn fat for hours. This is pretty amazing!
  • MW3 MultiBurn Method 3: Metabolic-Muscle Sessions – This is where 90% of fat loss plans fail, including MAX workouts. In order for this to work, you need to maintain and build the right level of lean calories-burning muscle. However, most programs ignore muscle entirely because they’re too focused on fat loss. It works when you start to move your muscles, burning more fat, and creating stronger, more toned muscles at the same time. Think of it this way, doing an exercise with more muscle is like driving a huge SUV instead of a Prius. You’ll burn more fuel, and accelerate your weight loss. These workouts also help when it comes to insulin sensitivity, which actually is your body’s storage hormone. It shuttles the energy and nutrients from your blood to your cells. If your insulin levels go down, you store more energy as fat. BW3 Metabolic-Muscle workouts keep your insulin sensitivity functioning at the right rate, maintaining the body’s hormone. This results in easier weight loss.

With these workouts you won’t get bulky though. So if that’s what you’re looking for, Bodyweight burn may not be for you. However, the science behind this program will help you build a sleek, muscular, and athletic physique. All with simple, fun, and short workouts.

Losing weight and sculpting your body won’t feel like a chore. Also, it won’t take hours upon hours to complete anymore. With Bodyweight burn, you can achieve weight loss. You will get a healthy, athletic look without a ton of hidden fees associated with MAX workouts.

By increasing your insulin sensitivity with the BW3 MultiBurn workouts, you’re then allowed to eat more carbs.

As I mentioned earlier, as this storage hormone sensitivity level goes down, you store more fat. On the other hand, with the right workouts at the right time, you can turn your muscles into carb and calories soaking sponges.

So you don’t have to worry about cutting out the foods you love. Go for the pasta and eat all the bread you desire! You’re burning more fat, so you can eat and replenish your body at the same time. You can’t eat whatever you want and only rely on your workouts for results, but you can eat more.

You still have to follow nutrition rules if you want to see a difference. What I’m saying is that it’s just easier to obtain. You don’t have to feel like you’re starving yourself. If you don’t know what nutrition rules to follow, no worries. There’s free material covered with Bodyweight burn that will explain it to you as well.

Plus, the step-by-step instructions for the workouts are so simple. You don’t have to scroll around searching for what you’re supposed to do or end up confused like with MAX workouts. Instead, you just turn the page and follow along.

In Summary

Bodyweight burn is the fastest way to lose weight and achieve your goal. The workouts are amazing and short while still targeting everything you need. They’re easy to follow and they have all the scientific evidence and research to back up their claims.

After giving Bodyweight burn a try, I lost 20 pounds. My joints no longer hurt every day from my long runs that, as I learned, were actually hurting my body in the long run. I feel so much better. I feel like I am more light on my feet and able to do just about anything I put my mind to, and I have the body back that I had before my kids.

People say I look like a younger, healthier version of myself, and I really do feel that way. I’ve even joined a kickball league in my neighborhood just because it’s fun. I finally don’t feel embarrassed to get out there and run. Probably because I don’t get out of breath so easily anymore.

My life has changed for the better, all thanks to Bodyweight burn!
