Thinking about buying the Tone It Up Workouts or the Tone It Up Nutrition Plan by Karena and Katrina?
If so, please read my not so positive review because what I found after 12 weeks of following their program might save you some money!
Hi, My name is Lucy and thanks for reading my Tone It Up review! Being a single mom of 2 boys at the age of 24 has been pretty hectic, and ever since giving birth to my first child, Toby who is now 4 I’ve really struggled to lose all the baby weight. I had really bad cravings while I was pregnant and managed to pack on a LOT of weight.
I did lose some of the weight but then I fell pregnant again and of course put on more weight than I lost. Because I’m a single mom with little to no support I am super busy looking after the boys which has been really tough. But I’m at that stage where I just HAVE to do something about it and this is why I went in search for a good solid workout and nutrition plan to follow.
I came across Tone it Up by Karena and Katrina after reading an article on a website I can’t even remember but I do remember they gave them some raving reviews so I had to check it out for myself. After doing some research, everything seemed to good to be true, well, until I seen the price! The nutrition plan was $150 which in my situation is a LOT of money.
The Tone it Up Nutrition Plan was definitely way to expensive for me and after doing some digging around I found some not so positive reviews about it. Instead I decided to look into the Tone it Up workouts to see if they where any good, and after watching some of the preview videos of Karena and Katrina, it just seemed like their workouts where nothing special compared to other workout routines I had seen before.
I honestly thought that Tone it Up was going to be the one, but lucky for me I done my research because I really don’t think that it’s worth all that money. Call me cheap, but I just simply don’t have that kind of money to spend on something that may or may not work!
I didn’t quit their though, I’m not the type to give up that easy! I done some more searches through Google and found something that has now changed my life, so much so that I am now the happiest I have EVER been.

If you’re really like Katrina and Karena, then go ahead and buy them. I just couldn’t justify the price and with all the mixed reviews out there I wasn’t prepared to spend that much money on something that might not even work.

I really don’t know why the Tone It Up girls priced their nutrition guide so high, I mean $150 is a lot of money. Jen Ferrugia on the other hand kept the price low making it more affordable for every one which is why I think Jen’s Bikini Body Workouts are so popular. Again, both programs are very similar but the price is just so different.

I highly recommend going to Jen Ferruggia’s website to see all the features and list of goodies you get with the program. Personally, I love Jen’s workout videos she is just really good at demonstrating how to do each exercise in perfect form. Watching the workouts on my iPad or T.V makes it so easy to follow along with. It actually feels like I am right there with Jen – almost like having your own in house personal trainer.
I know my Tone it Up review isn’t very positive and I don’t want to sound like I am verbally bashing Katrina and Karena but for me, the price is just a huge turn off and to be honest, the workouts and nutrition guide isn’t anything new. If you have that kind of money go for it, this is just my opinion after all and it maybe really good for you. I’m sticking with Jen Ferruggia’s workouts because they are really working for me as you can see below..

My results on day 47 of Jens 12 week bikini body workouts! Hard work really does pay off..
I noticed my butt and thighs toning up in the first 2 weeks then my belly started to flatten out. Another big thing I have noticed is I am so much more stronger than I used to be. I find myself lifting things I could never imagine lifting, ohh and undoing lids from jars – easy peasy lol..
I wont say it was super easy because the workouts at first are challenging BUT once you get past the first week you start feeling really good and become addicted. I absolutely LOVE my new lifestyle. Working out and eating properly is now part of my life and I can honestly say I am full of energy and life.
The food is surprisingly really good, I think that is why I have stuck with it because the shopping list and eating plan is super easy to follow. Unlike all the fad diets I’ve tried in the past, Jen’s nutrition plan is actually doable and it’s working. I can’t really say how it compares to the Tone it Up nutrition plan but at least it comes free with the Bikini Body Workouts.
So, if you’re thinking about buying the Tone it Up workouts or nutrition guide I highly recommend doing your research first because it is a lot of money.
